Four Cardinals named to IWLCA academic honor rollAugust 23, 2010The Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2010 Academic Honor Roll on Monday and four Cardinals were named to the list including Kate Narzikul, Laura Haring, Lauren Sheils and Melissa Brashear. In all, 184 student-athletes from 81 Division III institutions were honored.
Women's lacrosse receives academic recognitionAugust 16, 2010For the fourth consecutive year the CUA womens lacrosse team has been honored as an IWLCA Academic Squad, it was recently announced. In order to receive the honor teams must have a team grade point average of at least 3.0.
Landmark Conference announces Spring All-Academic TeamJune 24, 2010The Landmark Conference announced on Thursday the selection of 32 student-athletes to the 2010 Spring Landmark All-Academic Team. Among the 32 selections were four CUA student-athletes, including Kelly Carioto, Laura Haring, Marc Saxton, and Kristopher Reynolds.

While most NCAA football players can often be found lifting weights or downing powdery protein shakes, Catholic University of America sophomore John Tull discovered another way to spend his offseason. The Pennsylvania native has worked as a volunteer firefighter for the last five years for the Middletown Fire Company in Media, Pa.
